Let's talk about '21st Century Learning and Teaching'

Hi everyone! Today, I'm going to talk about 21st Century Learning and Teaching. As a student in the 21st Century, I will share my opinion about this topic. Let's start discussing! 

You know, technology has been developing for years. Thus, we integrate technology into almost most of our lives. I mean, it cannot be denied that technology is everywhere. So, technology is a part of education as well.

Today; in education, we use lots of technological devices, such as computers, smartboards, tablets, even our mobile phones. Thanks to these devices, we use lots of materials and apps. For instance, Powerpoints, Google docs, Google slides, Word office, Excel etc. 

While teaching language, it can be easy for teachers to show images regarding some words to improve students visual memory and it helps students remember words in an easier way. Like this example, teacher can create presentations and support their lecture with this kind of presentations. Besides, it's really helpful to save the documents in our computers. 

As for students, they also benefit from technology to improve themselves in terms of education. Students use youtube, google scholar, websites, blogs, podcasts, wikipedia, chrome etc. to get extra information. One of the best advantages of the technology is its mobility. We can use it everywhere. For instance; Nowadays, we can get online education thanks to the internet. In addition to this, according to their wishes, students can attend online courses and they can listen to musics, watch films, read ebooks to learn a new language. Also, they can visit blogs and websites. They can access any kind of information easily. 

In short, Technology is a reality of this era. Not surprisingly, it is used by almost all people and it's everywhere. We use it for education and it helps us a lot.
