KWL Charts! Don't you wonder what KWL charts are and how they can be beneficial for us?

 Hello eveyone! 

Today, I am going to write about websites and KWL charts. This time, we learnt about websites and KWL chart in the educational technologies class and we had an assignment about KWL charts. 

 In the 21st century, websites is known by almost all people and it is used commonly. Websites are very helpful for all people. In education, it is like a supplementary tool for teacher. As we can find any information easily through websites, it facilitates our learning process. Besides; according to their purpose, people can find websites that include information about specific topic. This is another advantage of websites. 

Now, I want to mention about the KWL chart briefly. A KWL chart is the chart that is divided into 3 parts and helps students to learn new information. Firstly, we should select a topic to create a KWL chart. In the first part of the chart, we should write what we know about this selected topic. In the second, we should write what we want to learn and in the third one, we should write what we learned about this topic. 

In this week, we created KWL chart. I said 'we' because our group consisted of 3 person except me. We collaborated for this homework. We did it on Padlet. It was so easy to use Padlet so ı enjoyed while ı was doing this homework. We selected air pollution as our topic. Everyone wrote what they know, what they want to learn and what they learned. It was so nice to see others' work. I love collaborative assignments because they help us see other perspectives about something. We can share our opinions and information with the other members of the group. In this assignment, ı experienced the same thing.  

I believe all of these assignments helped me improve my 21st century learning skills. Because, ı learned lots of things, such as creating blog, podcast, wiki. In addition, I learned lots of things about websites. I learned not only how ı can use technology but also how ı can benefit from technology for my teaching and learning process. This makes me feel wonderful :)
